They always want to break me, but I'm too strong now. Untouchable. Or at least I was . . . until her. LOGAN: I've had tunnel vision for one main goal for so long, that I forgot there was a whole other world just outside. Until Lana. She's everything I never expected, and I love the fact I can...

Lana & Logan slowly get closer to each other. Logan has to cancel on her numerous times because of work, but she is more than understanding about it. Lana knows it is extremely unwise to be getting involved with him. She provides insight on one of his cases, but tells him not to share case information with her that he isn't supposed to. She probably doesn't want him to ever think she is with him to get information he may have on the case she is the perpetrator of. A little more of her past is revealed, and it seems like everyone she is killing & torturing more than deserves it. Another serial killer case Logan is on, the Boogeyman, who rapes and kills women. Logan is now a target for the boogeyman, which means Lana is a target, and Logan wants police protection for her, while she wants him to come after her so she can eliminate the danger to Logan. This book ends with another cliffhanger. Diving into the next book to find out what happens next.

The story is really enjoyable still. These books are very addictive though! I cannot stop reading them and I am getting very invested in the characters. The backstory of the characters is very deep and dark. Motives are getting a little more clear but excited to learn even more about the characters. It is giving me major Criminal Minds vibes and I LOVE IT.
