4.25⭐ Unbeknownst to Lana, there is a witness to her taking down the boogeyman. And it is an understatement that said witness is shocked by what she sees and hears. She let him get a few hits in so it would look believable when the police and FBI arrived. However, she gave herself away when playing with him before killing him, and Hadley saw it all. Surprisingly, Hadley keeps her secret. Lisa, Logan's ex, is a total bitch. I really like Jake. It is good that Lana has someone who has her back, has been there for her since the incident years ago, and is helping her seek her vengeance. Holy fucking ninja assassin. He’s everything opposite of us. His light still shines. I hope they have fun with you in hell. You sentenced yourself there the day you targeted the only thing that makes me feel as though there’s still a soul inside me left to be saved. The only thing I love more than revenge.” Just like that, I have my answer. And I watch with her as the Boogeyman dies by his own knife. At the hands of a woman. The hands of a victim. In a way, it’s poetic justice. Like every stupid fucking idiot in the movies, I showed my hand of cards, let the words roll out of my mouth to a man I knew would never be able to tell a soul. I totally did an evil monologue, for fuck’s sake! I did it to taunt him. I did it to strip him of power. I didn’t know I was being watched.

HADLEY I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, you are seeing the whole picture and you are making your own decisions!!! Still enjoying every second of these books. Characters are going through a lot and respond so realistically. I really love Lana and Logan together, their chemistry is real good!
