Nero was so beyond sweet and caring toward Payton. His early inner commentary was pretty funny. He is a tough and scary crime boss to most everyone else, though. They both had an abusive childhood, which allowed them to connect more, having gone through similar abuses. The insta-love on both their parts was a bit much. The characters could definitely have had more development. The love story was corny but extremely sigh-worthy.
