This was good, but it was far from perfect. Entertaining and a bit silly, which made it a super easy read. It felt quite YA but with swearing. Typhon was probably my favourite part of this whole book, he was such a great character. Opie however, was literally the worst character. She was so bratty and every scene with her was painful, the constant “I hate you” for no reason got on my nerves massively🥴 I see some people comparing this to Harry Potter, and overall I don’t think it felt similar, but some scenes felt copy and pasted from it for sure. I did enjoy it though and I’m really looking forward to book 2
