To Touch a Silent Fury
A sprawling romantasy debut, filled with dragons, deceit and a delicious slow-burn romance.
She rides to claim her fate.
As the first and only woman in the Moontouched Brotherhood—a magical order stationed on a stormy island—Tani lives surrounded by men who see her as an ill omen at best. She desperately awaits the day when she can unlock her full powers and free herself from this restrictive life.
He flies to burn it down.
Lang, an insubordinate Crown Prince, holds the reins to one of the few dragons left in the world. When he visits the Moontouched Brotherhood, he learns of Tani’s power—and her potential. If she's able to unlock her full powers, her magic could topple empires.
Tani would be a threat to any kingdom—including Lang’s. He knows he can’t allow her to fulfill her fate, but neither can he bear the thought of giving her up to his warmongering father.
And so they find themselves at odds: Tani, determined to claim her magic. Lang, to destroy it by any means possible. But despite everything, they can’t resist the growing sparks between them, even as it might be their shared downfall.

I received this book as an ARC. Thank you to the author for allowing me to read this incredible story early. 4.75 stars. Without a doubt, once of the best books I've read in 2025. This is Sandpiper’s best work yet. From the very first page, I was completely hooked. The characters are vivid and fully realized, seamlessly woven into a rich, expansive world that feels alive in every detail. The lore and magic system are so compelling that I found myself wishing for an entire companion book devoted solely to their history. And the central relationship? I believed in it from start to finish and I was cheering them on every step of the way. The only reason I’m holding back from a full five stars is a brief lull in the middle, once the story reached Droundhaven. Fortunately, it quickly regained momentum and from there, it never let up. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves high fantasy with a romantic subplot, majestic dragons, and a magic system that’s as intriguing as it is unique
