Mist 😭😭 This one was even better than the first book I love this found family so much and I’m so excited to keep seeing them in every book. I also love the little bits of plot the spill over into each book in the series. And the fact the we will get tiny POV from side characters as well, it adds more depth to the story. But Mist absolutely stole the show and my heart, he is the sweetest most innocent character ever but also would kill you in a second for even looking at Lilly.

4.5 ⭐ I loved book 1 so much that I read it twice last year and I normally don't re-read books especially not in the same year, but I liked book 2 even more!! Mist is the biggest cinnamon roll despite being a literal demon! He's just so cute it left me kicking my feet several times. Lily was so unexpected and I enjoyed her finally overcoming her shy nature to become self assured; not to mention being a curvy FMC gets an extra brownie point in my books! The world building definitely takes a back seat to the character building in this series, but I'm not mad at it. I love the characters too much to take anything away from them to add depth to the world, but (and a tiny but) I do wish the magic and glowing was explained a bit more. Overall, a great fun read and I cannot wait to read book 3! Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys spicy paranormal/demon reads!
