Okay this was so cute and so much fun. I died every time Dex talked about “stray humans”. This read like the necessary evils series but with hellhounds and I am so here for it. The obsession and stalker tendencies are absolutely what I am here for 😂. I also loved that Toby was a writer and had all the same reactions that I did reading this. A perfect palate cleanser for all the stressful fantasy books I have coming up on my tbr.
