This book is by far my favorite of Aiden Thomas’ works. I loved the story’s premise. I loved the beautiful descriptions of the various foods and preparations being made for Día de Muertos. I thought the brujx community and the way they operated was intriguing. I liked Yads and Jules’ dynamic a lot. Their struggles felt real. My one criticism is that the plot twist felt veryyyy predictable and the foreshadowing was a little heavy-handed, but otherwise, a great work!
