*“Every time you get close to someone you open yourself up to pain. Because eventually they will die or leave you and you’ll be a husk of your former self, discarded, left behind, and scattered by the wind.”* What I loved: ✿ reincarnation ✿ emotionally driven writing What I disliked: ✿ repetitive writing ✿ plot holes ✿ lacking certain character depth Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first one as the writing and some of the scenes felt too similar to the first book. The smut hit at about the 30% mark and seemed to happen nonstop until 70% which got a little old as well. I enjoyed it enough to see it through because the story itself is really unique, it was just lacking depth. Honestly think it should have been longer standalone book. Trigger warnings: Sexual content, Blood, Violence, Child death, Grief, Sexual violence, Pregnancy, Murder, Gore [✿ Connect with me on instagram ✿](https://www.instagram.com/literarily_laurynn?igsh=aTh6eTZ6dGwxMXpy&utm_source=qr)
