I loved this entire book. I have nothing but love for Colin and Penelope. They’re probably my third favorite couple. I really think that these two had the most character development yet. The way he talked about her had me absolutely melting, and I loved every second of it. I was really happy to see glimpses of Eloise and Sir Phillip at the end. I’m definitely curious about their story. Overall, I give this book 5/5 stars, and I’d definitely read it again.

4.5 ⭐️ This has been my favourite so far!! I started this in celebration of finally receiving my illumicrate Bridgerton books!! Okay I’ve been having a lot of fun going through and reading this series as someone who watched the show first and completely fell in love. The other books haven’t been living up to the show mostly due to all the misogyny in their world and the fact that they definitely gave their mmcs personally upgrades for the show. HOWEVER I absolutely adored this book, I don’t know if it’s because Pen and Colin’s season was my least favourite (I still loved it) or because I just love a Penelope that much but I loved this one so much and I loved both the similarities and differences between their season and their book. This definitely has me excited to continue the series.
