I fell in love with Julie Olivia’s writing last fall after reading If it makes you happy which absolutely blew all my expectations out of the water so I was so excited to read her latest book. Love felt like this was a single dad romance following single dad and rockstar Griffin Harvey and ultimate sunshine puppeteer Beverly. The connection and chemistry between Griffin and Beverly was evident right from the start of this book. This was the perfect sweet and cozy small town romance filled with laughter and lots and lots of pancakes. Ava was so sweet and seeing the connection between her and Beverly was so precious and made the story that much better. I love everyone in this book so much (other than two people and you know who you are). The end definitely had me crying but everything played out in a way that felt so real for the characters. I can’t wait to read more by this author because I love her writing and all the emotions it evokes. Give me 500 more single dad romances written by her. Thank you to NetGalley and Berkeley publishing group for this eARC!! All opinions are my own.
