Lexi works as a housekeeper at a hotel with her best friend and when they are sent to double check a important guest's room is ready for them to arrive, Lexi finds that the guest had already arrived mid clean. She freaks and rushes out, forgetting that she picked up a watch in the commotion. When she goes back to try to return the watch, she is caught and accused of stealing and fired. Easton is set to take over his family's business but is reminded of certain criteria that he must meet before he can do so. He must get married before he turns 40, which is not for off. I really enjoyed this story! The banter between Lexi and Easton throughout the book was top notch. They have instant chemistry even when they don't necessarily like each other. I also love that Easton fell hard and fast for Lexi and just waits for Lexi to catch up.
