“I don’t think anyone in the history of this wretched world has ever loved another person as much as I do you.” SIR CEDRIC THORNE THE MAN THAT YOU ARE. This book had everything I wanted from the conclusion of this epic romantasy trilogy and more. I laughed, I cried, I kicked my feet and I blushed. Gretchen broke my heart a little bit with this one, that final battle was amazing and also such a hard read. Everyone grab your tissues for this one. I love this found family so much and it is so sad to be leaving this world behind (for now 👀). Elyria and Cedric forever have my heart and I love them even more after shadow and son. They had some of the most epic moments and this is definitely a series I will be coming back to and rereading. If you haven’t read this series yet what are you waiting for. I loved the extra POVs we got this book and it feels like we have some teasing going on for some of the characters in this world, I will be very impatiently waiting to see them all again. Thank you so much to Gretchen and her team for letting me read this ARC. I just about died when I got the email.

Oh my gods this was absolute perfection! I cried and laughed and cried some more, this was the best ending for the series and the epilogue scenes were amazing. I’ll update this review closer to release day
