Empire #3

Empire of Hate

Rina Kent

4.64

From New York Times bestseller and BookTok sensation Rina Kent comes the thrilling Empire series where power, obsession, and dark desires collide. My boss. My enemy.

I escaped my life. Leaving everything behind wasn't easy, but I did it. I turned the page and flew over the ocean.

This is my new beginning. Mynew chapter. My new book.

Or so I hoped before I met my new boss. Daniel Sterling. Rich as sin, illegally attractive, and the face of every magazine cover.

Oh, and the reason why I escaped in the first place. I made his high school life hell. He won't stop until he gives me a taste of my own medicine.

Empire of Hate is a complete standalone. Nobook should be read prior to this,

This book was amazing. I cannot even process what all happened. Even when I am typing this out I get goosebumps bc what the hell was this story. LISTEN UP THOUGH, READ CRUEL KING FIRST BC THIS BOOKS HAS MANY SPOILERS OF THE FIRST SERIES, ESPECIALLY CRUEL KING. I could just cry about the pain and fear that is written so so well. CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS!! Personally I think this is one of the best books I have read so far by Rina Kent. Nicole is such a well written character who has been through so so much. Especially when you read the Rinaverse like I am doing (starting at the first series she has written and move my way up through her entire backlist) you will see the growth and development of her character. I love her and just want to hug her. So the only frustrating part of the book was that Daniel and Nicole were so mean towards each other not only the first part, no the entire fucking story up untill like the last 10 pages or something. Also, THE PAIN WHEN DANIEL LEFT NICOLE AT THE END BC HE THOUGHT HE DID NOT DESERVE HER?!?!?!?!?!? I wanted to cry, I might have cried, I certainly had a big reaction.
