I can't believe that I'm almost done with this series. It's been such a journey and I think I'll forever be glad that it was one I decided to go on. These characters mean so much to me, and I'm not quite sure how I'll move on from them in two books. But, anyways, back to this one. I really did enjoy this one. There were so many scenes with quotes that I really liked. This was the first book in this series, however, where I felt like there was too much smut going on. There for a while it seemed like it was every other page, but when the plot actually started I didn't mind it as much. Anyways, I'm very intrigued in the plot now, and I'm curious to see where things go from here. Definitely a 4.5/5 stars for me.

Minus 1 star because the first half of this book was so depressing I could barely stand it. I definitely recommend the tandem read with Beyond the veil it made the book a million times better and is definitely the best way to read the series. The end of this book was definitely worth the wait tho and I don’t know what I’m going to do with myself when this series is over. Other than read every single book set in this world.
