Fall Too Well gave me childhood best friends, a second-chance romance, a single mum returning to her hometown, and a broody cowboy who never really stopped loving her. Naturally, I was emotionally compromised. Everly and Nash’s relationship was SO SO good. Their shared history added so much depth to the romance because these were not two strangers suddenly falling in love—they had years of friendship, heartbreak and unresolved feelings between them. The longing? The tension? The sheer amount of time these two had wasted? Painful. Delicious. Deeply inconvenient for my emotional stability. Nash was easily my favourite part of the story. His love for Everly was obvious and he was ready to (finally) commit, but it was his relationship with Willow that truly finished me off. The man did not need to be that adorable with her, yet there he was, raising my standards without authorisation. I also really loved Everly. Her struggles as a single mum felt genuine, and I understood why returning to Cozy Creek—and allowing Nash back into her life—was difficult for her. Their relationship developed naturally, and the emotional moments actually made me care rather than impatiently wait for everyone to start kissing again. The story had the perfect combination of cosy autumn vibes, spice, humour and genuine emotion. It made me laugh, swoon and become far too invested in a fictional cowboy’s happiness. At this point, dignity had left the building. By far my favourite story from the Cozy Creek series. Everly and Nash completely stole my heart, Willow made everything even sweeter, and the second-chance romance was executed perfectly. Five stars. No complaints. Only cowboy.
