I love the Cosmere, and this was such a delightful reminder of why. The crossover elements are so fun. Like little rewards that never overwhelm the story just enhance it. I’m also grateful that Brandon Sanderson’s wife encouraged him to lean into romance just a smidge because it just elevates the HEA and adds so much warmth and heart to the story. And Yumi and Nikaro? Absolutely adorable!! They're both so tender and raw, funny, and quietly powerful. I was fully invested in both of them from start to finish. Overall, this is definitely a great addition to the Cosmere and will be a shelf trophy next to Tress! I recommend this 'series' within the Cosmere to anyone who appreciates fantasy with a bit of romance.
