Even tho this is 4 book series, you could probably stop here and still feel a sense of relief from the series. Its tense for awhile, our main characters are separated and having a rough go of it, and the FMC eventually takes charge and saves everyone like a badass, BUT that final blow of the bad guy douche… I did NOT see coming, I mean it "was" foreshadowed early on, but very nicely executed because I forgot by time it came down to it lol
