This one was the best book in the series - imo. It had spice, humor, battle scenes, new settings, the plot moved well and the all the tension needed to drive a series home. I was about to get a little pissed when what happened to Hannon happened before we found out what his animal was, but I quickly realized what was happening and it clicked what his animal was - then it was confirmed I think that was perfectly done. There did seem to be a bit of a plot hole with that "having a cure for everything" but for some reason nobody offered poor Hadriel any kind of sea sick elixirs?? I also think the "main baddy" could've had a more brutal ending, but I get it and it didnt feel too rushed.
