What the hell was that? This was a very odd but good story. Rowan was super sweet and funny, especially for a vigilante serial killer. This was definitely a slow-burn romance, but it was very enjoyable. At times, it was extremely gruesome, especially around the 90% mark. Listening to the audiobook probably made it a bit more horrific in parts because I couldn't just skim over the parts like I would if I were reading or look away if I was watching a horror movie; the only thing I could do was play it on a faster speed. After all, I didn't want to miss something that may have been integral to the story. The voice actors did an excellent job narrating this book.

THIS BOOK HELLO!?! I always knew I would adore this book and I was so right. This is one of my favourite reads of the year. (I’d say favourite but it’s been a really good year). Dark romance comedy is my new favourite genre and I need MORE. This book had me giggling and kicking my feet during every chapter. And the ending was perfection. I can’t wait to read the next books in this series but I don’t know how they will hold up because Rowan and Sloan were everything I wanted from the mcs of a romance. Give me all of the serial killers especially serial killer artists.

Wow… I ate this book like it was my last meal… After coming off a tense, brutal and heavily savage plot driven series, this was the perfect wind down. The pace is good, the romance was so cute! It had Dexter vibes and I laughed uncontrollably soooo hard so many times. I swooned at the adorableness and all the characters were well done. The dragon onesie! Velveteen dragon suit!! this was sooo funny and endearing. And the end, was so cute how he surprised her, he just knew her SO well and actually listened and paid attention to her body language cues to make her as comfortable as possible when he knew she was struggling - this is how real men should be.
