Interesting story, I liked Lachlan. Not as humorous as the first book. I didn't feel the chemistry between the couple as much on Lark's part. The Narration of this book enhances the book.

Ok so.. I loved B&B, I don't know if I would say this is "better" - but I did really enjoy the story with these 2 MCs, and read through this just as fast as B&B. I think the forced marriage thing was a little weird, like did you really have to? It seemed kinda unnecessarily forced... but all in good fun I suppose lol. The older aunt - what a character! Thats one savage bitch you do not want to fuck with haha. The chemistry, tension, and relationship growth/development was such a fun ride. Can't wait to re-experience with the audio book. 🌶️ 4/5 From early on I had high expectations for spice with that hot af makeout sesh, but this sloooowwww burned for what seemed like forever! Yes it was hot, their little gestures and inner monologues, and mutual pining, and constant teasing... Then the spice finally happened and it was a little underwhelming compared to her other books... I would honestly rate the spice even lower than 4, EXCEPT for the final scene... THAT earned a whole extra chili pepper because OMG that was fantastic, and totally worth the wait.

I absolutely loved Leather & Lark. Lachlan Kane is the perfect broody alpha hero, strong and intimidating on the outside, but deeply romantic and protective when it comes to Lark or his family. Both Lachlan and Lark are layered characters with compelling backstories, and I enjoyed watching their relationship unfold against the backdrop of danger and chaos. The blend of humor, action, and heartfelt moments made this book a greatly addictive read. It’s such a unique and crazy series, and I can’t wait to see what comes next!
