⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Absolutely brilliant. This book was so good, I was gripped from the start. The plot, the character building and the world building were just so graphic. I thought it was going to be a 5* from me, it was up until the last 20%. Towards the end it felt like the focus was more on the relationship of main characters than the story. It felt frustrating that so much was going on but we just weren’t getting any of the action.

This was incredible to read, I love Dianna’s character and how we slowly learn more and more about her, who she is, what she can do and I am obsessed with her relationship with Gabby 🫶🏼 Samkiel (Liam) is my new book boyfriend for real! I also love how his character develops as he learns the language (and the word “fuck”), seeing the insights into his past and how it shaped him into who we meet at the beginning and I loved seeing him open up more! I need to read book 2 asap as I have some suspicions that I need to know if I’m correct on! Second read updates: I was correct on my suspicions 😂 I still love this book so much and it’s even better knowing what I do from the other 3 books
