“This is your life, and it’s ending one minute at a time…” It was hard listening to this and not hearing Edward Norton narrate. “Its only after you’ve lost everything, that you are free to do anything” Ugh SO many memorable and thought provokingly dark quotes in this book. The movie is one of my all time favs, I didnt realize how closely it follows and really liked that, but also mentally comparing and reimagining these scenes that play out. It was interesting reading more about Marla, she has more of a presence in this. I still sometimes wonder if Tyler is also Marla. The ending was different, I think I prefer the movie end better, but all in all a good read.
