I'm loving this series more and more. At the beginning of this book, I was hating on the King but Laura made me fall for him and the relationship he and Serenity have all over again. The plot continues to excite me and make me want more. So much drama, betrayal, & longing that I can't wait to start the last book.

Daaaammmmm that ending tho...?! I loved how baddass the FMC is in this, she gets knocked down like a million times and kicks ass every time on her way back up. The MMC, I kinda hated him, then I was like ok you not so bad... then I was back to kinda hating him again... like DUDE how many times are you gonna let this girl slip through your hands and fuck up a good thing lol 🌶️ 3/5 Spice is ok, lil off page, lil cringy at times, but overall not bad. It's like playing with a lighter flame, do I like this? Will it burn me? Idk fuck it, let's play with it anyway.
