I knew what was going to happen because I read and loved the 2nd book to this series, but damn! It still pulls out the tear-jerker moments! Not cool Abby. I liked that guy too! So it’s a 4.5⭐️😢

People are imperfect, nothing is black and white, and I love Abby's storytelling abilities. Geez, some of these reviews on this book are HARSH af... I wonder if they even read the author note that clearly stated this was basically based on true events... Every story is different, and I absolutely loved this one. From start to finish, I ate it up. The characters were complex and flawed, the relationships weren't black and white, this felt realistic and authentic. There are SO many real life stories out there of women struggling with infertility and some of them are able to have those miracles and some aren't - thats real. And that fucking devastating "thing" that happened in the last half, ugh omg such a tear jerker. I audibly laughed, I had to dry my eyes at times, the banter was adorable, the MMC was lovable, and the FMC was stubborn and head strong, but relatable - well done Abby. I cannot wait to see what you do with Sloans story. 🌶️ 3/5 That build up between these MCs and the hot and cold that was constantly going was a fun ride. I can see how some of this would make some people uncomfortable, but I was not bothered by any of it. It was all very natural and entertaining imo.
