Right, so I’m giving this 3* based on the fact that I knew what I was getting myself into, the cover and title clearly showed it was gonna be a ride. Was it awful? Yes. Did I enjoy it anyways? Yes. I have never laughed so much, I might have been laughing at how bad it was, but I was so amused by the unbelievable creativity and weirdness.

3/5⭐ 5/5🌶️ Tropes - Witty banter - No third-act breakup - Forbidden Love 📖My Thoughts Why yes, yes I did read this. Even though it was objectively terrible, I can't bring myself to give it a bad review because I knew what I was getting myself into. Sometimes you have to read the book for the memes, ok? I'm honestly impressed with the author's ability to work an autumnal pun in at every turn. The writing wasn't bad by any means and the editing was far better than some other popular books out there. Yes, it was terribly cheesy but incredibly fun to read with friends. ⚠️Triggers The amount of puns used is probably the most triggering thing about this book. The book does also include kidnapping and some very explicit sex scenes. 🌶️Spice This didn't have your average kind of spice. It had a latte spice. (A lot of spice? Get it? Yeah? Ok whatever, I did my best). The first major scene is with three pumpkins boys and a girl. Was it three? For some reason, it ended up feeling like another pumpkin boy slipped in there somewhere. I couldn't keep up. The next scene is with another female character and the ManCandy monster. Honestly, I really enjoyed the pumpkin boys more and felt like we got a little more lead up to it for me to really get into it. ManCandy felt sugar rushed. (super rushed..No?)

Imagine eating a bucket of candy corn AND licorice, holy gourd that was bad. Funny, but bad. Obviously Hallowpeen is not something to be taken seriously and just a ridiculous spooky season read thats more trick than treat, but I did appreciate the interesting word choices and shock factor with these unhinged characters… Also honorable mention to these FMCs that came off as the ladies that run up the stairs in horror films… those slutty outfits really paid off this year. :hot_pepper: 5/5 Pumpkin spice lattes are not my thing and tbh this wasn’t either lol. I will commend the creativity of how this was written as far as exploring seasonal descriptions and making it flow goes, well done. I will never look at a pumpkin the same again.
