1 MILLION COPIES SOLD IN THE SERIES
In this captivating sequel to the #1 New York Times bestselling gothic-infused novel, Belladonna, Signa and Death face a supernatural foe determined to tear them apart.
A duke has been murdered. The lord of Thorn Grove has been framed. And Fate, the elusive brother of Death, has taken up residence in a sumptuous palace nearby. He's hell-bent on revenge after Death took the life of the woman he loved many years ago ... and now he’s determined to have Signa for himself, no matter the cost.
Signa and her cousin Blythe are certain that Fate can save Elijah Hawthorne from wrongful imprisonment, if the girls will entertain Fate’s presence. But the more time they spend with him, the more frightening their reality becomes, as Signa exhibits dramatic new powers that link her to Fate’s past. With mysteries and danger around every corner, the cousins must decide whom they can trust as they navigate their futures in high society, unravel the murders that haunt their family, and play Fate’s unexpected games—all with their destinies hanging in the balance.
Daring, suspenseful, and seductive, this sequel to Death and Signa's story is as utterly romantic as it is perfectly deadly.

I was so slow on reading this one because I really do not want this series to be over. It already holds such a special place in my heart. It truly feels so magical to read. I liked seeing more of the spirits in this book and I do hope we get something similar next book. I do love how Adalyn wraps each book up at the end so nicely and then gives a little hint of what to look forward to in the next book, to keep you wanting more. I loved the added POVs in this book it was a great lead in to Wisteria, however Im going to miss my darling Signa and the sassy babygirl that is death.

5/5⭐ 1/5🌶️ 💖Tropes -Found family -Reluctant allies -Fake dating -Forced proximity 📖My Thoughts While the mystery wasn't as fun as it was in Belladonna, I still really loved this book. I love the world Adalyn has set for us and the characters she has created. Each and every character felt like they played an important role in this story even the dead ones (except Diana with her annoying ass). Each page in this series hasn't been wasted with its beautiful writing, world-building, and character development. If anything, I want more! I know Blythe probably gets a lot of hate in this book, but I love the journey her character goes through as the details unfold before her eyes. I love her fiery personality and that she questions everything even though she is so naive. As always, Signa is stunning in every sense of the world. Her qualities are so noble yet heartbreaking at the same time. Death is really such a strong support for Signa which I love. The introduction of Fate has me really looking forward to more of his story as it's obvious we are anything but done with him. I kept going back and forth with my distaste and fondness of him. I'm excited for Wisteria! ⚠️Triggers -Murder & attempted murder -Poisoning -False imprisonment -Animal death -Pregnancy (almost miscarriage) 🌶️Spice I love how the spice is so vague in these books yet still so steamy! The longing and the tension the characters experience expressed through the author's writing always has me worked up and wanting more. There are several scenes between Death and Signa that are quite steamy with mentions of his hand traveling up her legs, exploring under her skirts and Signa wrapping her legs around him. fans self I don't think I would want more details to be honest. I think the lack of details for their intimate scenes is what makes it so sensual.

This was just as good as the first book. There were some moments where I really disliked Blythe, she was quite the brat, BUT she redeemed herself. Loved the ending of this. The narrator was really good at portraying emotion and different characters throughout. 🌶️ 1/5 I was again surprised how maybe I wouldnt call this “spicy” but there were definitely a few saucy moments. I will miss Signa and Death.
