It might not be perfect, it might be cheesy, but it’s also beautiful🥹 I love everything about this book, the characters were absolutely perfect and I already miss them. Immediately picking up book 2!

I understand the hype now. Hype was warranted. I flew through this book.

“I grew up on a massive cattle ranch, I should know. I just never knew not liking milk was a crime.” ~ “Instead, I’ve spent the last several days rolling my eyes over my milk hatred making the news” ~ All of the comments about milk hatred in this truly had me giggling. As a fellow milk hater I am with you Rhett, but I don’t have a traumatic milk backstory it’s just nasty :skull: I had so much fun with this book and I wasn’t able to put it down. Babysitter trope except the person she’s baby sitting is a fully grown man who hates milk and requires no babysitting at all the very second he lays eyes on her. This was my first Elsie Silver book and I loved it so I will definitely be reading all of her others. I’ve already started Cades book :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth: I just love a small town romance series so much I’m already so invested in all of their characters I can’t wait to see more from them. Rhett was really something special tho and I loved how he really showed Summer to put herself first and that she deserves more than she thinks. I loved her dad in this but the rest of her family are the worst human beings. :hot_pepper: 2/5 I feel like their could have been a little more tension but I was still living for all of their interactions. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/199500891
