I had a good time with this. It’s vastly different than the movie, if my memory serves me correctly. A bit nonsensical at times, but easy and entertaining to get through.

This was absolutely enchanting and whimsical! I can’t believe I waited so long to finally read it! The charm of the moving castle, the quirky magic, and the delightfully stubborn characters all made it feel like stepping into a fairytale that was both cozy and unpredictable.

This book was incredible and I am SO GLAD I finally read it! I absolutely love the studio ghibli adaptation, but honestly the book is so much better (also quite different, which I love) The ending had me tearing up, and I have to say Calcifer and Sophie are my favourite characters 💜 Howl is amazing too (and was my cartoon crush in the movie) but I really admire Sophie’s determination and passion.
