I don't like double 1st POV romance novels so if I wasn't reading it for a romance trope list challenge I would have dropped it but it had some nice parts. The 'feud' the two characters had just seemed exhausting at times and the whole town getting involved was really not as cute as the author seemed to feel. (Ngl, could not help thinking 'oh good thing the two people sneaking around each other's houses in a Kentucky small town doing minor vandalism in the middle of the night are both white', bc that is...a very privileged plotline tbh.) I did really appreciate him <spoiler>selling the bike at the end</spoiler> though because often it feels like FLs just suddenly accept stuff like that because it's important to 'her man' so her completely justifiable objection is irrelevant. I did like a lot of the emotional parts it was just under a lot of things that annoy me specifically.
