⭐⭐⭐ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Favorite line: Everleigh groaned. “You must think I’m a total disaster.” She certainly felt like one. “Eh, I was thinking more along the lines of a hot mess.” He grinned wolfishly, eyes dragging down her body. “Emphasis on hot.” 📖 My Thoughts This was a cute one, the FMC was an adorable klutz and the MMC was a shameless flirt. I enjoyed their banter and chemistry but overall nothing too memorable. ⚠️ Trigger Warnings Graphic: Sexual content, Fire/Fire injury, Cursing Moderate: Injury/Injury detail, Grief, Death Minor: Death of parent 🌶️ Spice I will say that the spice was really hot in this, the sexual chemistry in bed was chef's kiss which has me intrigued on the author's other books.

3.5 Dangerfield? A little cliche maybe... lol I think I need more firefighter books in my lineup. This was short, sweet and cute. 🌶️ 2/5 Decent smutt, the narrators with this collection have all been really good, very enthusiastic lol

it was fine. I wouldn't say I necessarily cared for either of the characters and the "mayhem" of the plot did feel a little over the top at times. the grief "B-plot" felt like it was going for an emotional arc that just… wasn’t there. but the spice was really good. I'd read more from the author.

When Everleigh has a smokey mishap while baking some cookies, she has a run-in with a local firefighter, Griffin. He hits on her, but she's only in town for a short time so she turns him down. Not even a week later, she has another mishap when trying to hang Christmas lights on the roof and Griffin swoops in to save the day. This time when Griffin asks her out, she decides to agree. While on their date, another mishap occurs, and Griffin is there yet again to save the day. This was a cute holiday novella and I really enjoyed it! This was my first read by Alexandria and I look forward to reading more after this.

★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆ Merriment and Mayhem by Alexandria Bellefleur had festive charm but felt too rushed. The insta-love dynamic made it hard to connect, and Everleigh’s conflict felt overly silly. Griffin was sweet but a bit too flirty, and the abrupt ending left me wanting more depth. Fun but forgettable.
