⭐⭐ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Best line: “Would you be mad if I made a joke about sitting on Santa’s face?” 📖 My Thoughts I wasn't into this novella as much. The FMC gave "pick me" vibes and the crush felt very one sided which made the chemistry fall flat. A girl taking control is always hot but in this instance, I wasn't taken by it. A POV from the MMC could have made this a bit better I think so that it shows us that the crush wasn't one sided instead of only telling us. Actions speak louder than words! Loved this one, great build up, tension, good relatable characters - a little cliche with meet cute, and some typical descriptions you kinda see everywhere, but this was cute and I enjoyed it. 🌶️ 2/5 Enjoyable, too fast tho, but had a good build up with the MCs having already a semi friendly relationship and mentions of cutesy things they did because they liked each other before admitting to it.

I'm sad I didn't like this as much as I'd hoped. don't get me wrong, it's decent (especially for such a short novella) and there were definitely parts I thought were very cute, but it wasn't my favorite of the collection. might have been my second favorite, though.

Evie is new to the building and has been working like crazy so her place isn't very festive. That is until a stranger starts leaving Christmas ornaments on her door. She is invited to a Christmas party in her building and decides to go to try to impress her secret crush, Theo, who lives one floor above her. When she and Theo are caught under some mistletoe, they share a kiss that proves that her feelings are not one-sided. This was a very enjoyable holiday novella. This was a new to me author and I look forward to reading more.
