Can you keep a secret?
The one thing Cecelia Horner knows about her move to Triple Falls is, it’ll be temporary. After one year working for her elusive father at his factory, he’ll hand over the inheritance she needs to help her single mother. With that, Cecelia will leave the town, and everyone in it, behind forever.
On her first day, she collides with her new supervisor, Sean. Enigmatic, charming, irresistible, Sean lures Cecelia into a new world of sex, lies, and alliances. Determined to make the most of her time in Triple Falls, Cecelia allows herself to blindly fall. But the more Cecelia is drawn in, the stronger her belief that Sean is keeping a secret. A secret that Dominic, Sean’s best friend, and the darkest, most dangerous of his crew, is determined to keep Cecelia from uncovering.
Cecelia discovers something else—a maelstrom of untapped desires within herself along with a powerful pull of first love. The more Cecelia becomes immersed in Sean and Dominic’s perilous world, the more she starts to realize that the men she’s trusted are hiding far more than she could have ever imagined. And the secret they’re hiding just might be the thing to break her fall.

⭐⭐⭐ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Quote: * “The only love I’ve ever known or craved is the kind that keeps me sick, sick with longing, sick with lust, sick with need, sick with grief. The distorted kind that leaves scars and jaded hearts.”* 💭 My thoughts I've been ruminating my thoughts on this book for a couple days now, jumping around from 3 stars to 4. Ultimately, I think it's a 3 star read for me simply because of how questionable it is in content. While the intrigue and mystery pulled me in and had me finishing this book so fast, the characters are all very.. shall we say, toxic? The FMC is quite young and immature which is completely understandable. The men are obviously where most of my issues lie. I find it hard to believe these men are so taken with and blown away by a 19 year old; let alone a 19 year old who's father they hate. The entire time reading this book you feel like you're missing something and that's not by accident. The over-arching plot, insidiously hovering in the background comes to fruition at about the 95% mark. I kind of appreciated this mystery element to the story quite a bit because it kept me intrigued. All in all, I think as a reader you have to decide how okay you are with these characters. I'll be continuing the series after a bit of a break. ⚠️ Trigger warnings Graphic: Sexual content, Toxic relationship, Drug use Moderate: Violence, Alcohol, Cancer Minor: Death of parent, Alcoholism, Cursing 🌶️ Spice The spice was really hot in this and not overwhelming or redundant. All of the scenes flowed nicely with the story and sometimes left you to imagine the rest. I did really enjoy the different personalities of the guys and how the spicy scenes played off of their traits. Follow my Instagram

This was ok, theres this insta love thing I’m starting to think is not my fav trope, or maybe its just how it’s executed? Unclear… The FMC I found to be a little annoying, childish, the weirdest thing upset her like a random song on radio… the MMCs were ok, but the relationship and plot development came off as kinda dull to me, and the dudes irritated me at times, gaslighting her and trying to be “cool” or cryptic, in their own immature way. 🌶️ 5/5 I’m not sure how this can be both cringy but also hot? I think it’s just the personalities of these MCs threw me off. Was it hot, sure there were some hot scenes, but maybe a little redundant and I’m not even sure why these MCs liked each other but is what it is I guess. I wasn’t overly attached to any of them honestly, and their backstories were pretty basic. I thought this was supposed to be RH... I know by definition there is no set number of people needed for a "harem" but this was barely a 3 way...

3.5⭐️ I really enjoyed the relationship development in this book between the main characters, but I found myself lost and disinterested in the weird group(?) the guys are involved in.

Super vague and stagnant plot, but I lowkey ate it up anyway. I literally feel like nothing happened in the 300 smth pages i just read, and yet I want to read more? The mmcs are honestly really shitty, and the age gap is questionable, but again.. I just wanna read the next book!! There were so many questions left unanswered from the ending of the first book i think the duet shouldve just been one big novel. Didnt like how taboo and dirty it made poly relationships seem, why is it so bad that it has to be a secret?

I will start by saying that I went into this blind. I have seen about a million TikToks about this series and how it will break you. Second, normally, I give a little synopsis of the story in my reviews, but with this one, I just can't do it. I have to keep the mystery alive a little bit. I will say this, though... I was hooked. It took a little bit, but I was hooked. I had so many questions and theories while reading. I remember so many times I would have to go back and reread a part just to make sure I didn't miss anything. But I loved it. I enjoyed the mystery of the story and how we only got a small glimpse of what was going on, which aligned with what Cecelia knew.
