Sydney is chosen for an amazing opportunity to help with Alzheimer's research, after losing her scholarship. She travels to an isolated island with the other participants, where she has to give up her phone and has no access to the internet or anything. She slowly starts to realize that there is a lot more going on than meets the eye. I really enjoyed this story. I was on the edge of my seat and when I thought I knew what was going on, I would quickly realize that I was wrong. I loved being surprised and confused most of the time. And while many questions were answered at the end, I still felt like I had even more going through my head. I will definitely be checking out more by Karina.

4.5 ⭐️ HOLY HELL. I didn’t know what to expect from this book going in blind, but I was not disappointed. The twists?! Amazing. I could not put this book down.
