The steamy, enemies-to-lovers dark mafia romance from the TikTok sensation, perfect for readers of Ana Huan, Rina Kent, and Danielle Lori. 'I am OBSESSED with this book' ***** reader review 'Deliciously sexy' *****reader review She's seeking redemption. He's determined to ruin her. My name is Rory Carter, and I do bad things.

I might smile like an angel, but underneath, my soul is far from clean. Not even my weekly calls to the Sinners Anonymous hotline can change that. Marrying the seventy-year-old head of the Cosa Nostra to save my father was the closest I've come to doing good.

And I was surviving - one lie, one smile, one silk dress at a time - until his nephew showed up uninvited. Angelo "Vicious" Visconti. A beautiful monster with a sharper tongue than conscience.

They say he went straight years ago, but I don't believe it. Because Angelo is danger wrapped in desire - and when he looks at me, I can't tell if he wants to ruin me or save me. Tropes: - Dark mafia romance - Age gap - Forbidden romance - Enemies to lovers - Grumpy x Sunshine - Slow burn - Obsessed MMC Readers cannot get enough of the Sinners Anonymous series: 'This did not disappoint' *****reader review 'I need an Angelo Visconti' *****reader review 'Devoured this book in less than a day' ****reader review 'Cute, quirky, dark and sexy!' *****reader review

I was not a fan of this book. The couple barely interacts with each other for the first 30% of the book; the beginning was hard to get into and did not keep my interest. After the 70% point the book improved. I did not understand why anyone would call a number and leave their sins (many of which are probably illegal actions) on a voicemail. There is no guarantee of anonymity, and odds are that it will come back to bite you in the ass. Why not go to a priest, who is sworn to secrecy? It was also pretty sus that Rory did not ensure Angelo would/could keep the promise to not develop the land she sold herself into a marriage contract for. Especially since she knew Alberto killed off his wives when he grew tired of them. The spice in this book was low and not spicy. I didn't feel that Rory & Angelo's relationship was well developed, nor did I feel a real connection between them (aside from lust). The relationships and interactions between Angelo and his brothers and cousins were far better than with Rory. The banter among the male characters was good. This was an annoying inaccuracy for me that I wish the author had done her research on: no restaurants in the Pacific Northwest are eligible/reviewed for a Michelin star.
