*❝ In her I saw someone who was so self-aware it was catastrophic, a tendency I share. ❞* ❥ My thoughts What fun this turned out to be. It started a little slow and confusing with all of the characters being introduced, but by 20% I found it hard to put down. I'm a sucker for a whodunnit murder mystery and everyone is guilty until proven otherwise. Books like these allow me the validity of trusting absolutely no one and I love that for me. What can I say? I'm a simple gal with trust issues. Besides it being a bit confusing at times, the pacing of the story was on point in my opinion. Two women who are connected in more ways than just their need for justice, but are separated by time and now death, are trying to solve fortunes told and mysteries that span decades. If you love puzzles in the form of a book, this is it! ❥ Trigger warnings Graphic: Murder, Death, Toxic friendship Moderate: Pregnancy, Infidelity, Violence Minor: Vomit, Car accident, Drug use [Follow my Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/inkstainedemotions?igsh=aTh6eTZ6dGwxMXpy&utm_source=qr)

This was such a fun read! I was immediately into this from the description to the first chapter which follows Annie and her getting an invite to join a meeting with her great aunt which turns into a wild murder mystery whodunnit that spans over decades... It had small town vibes and old family secrets that kept the intrigue going and made me want to pull out and craft my own murder board haha. The characters were great, you either loved or hated them, pacing was solid, and there were several scenes where I was on the edge of my seat. Definitely recommend for anyone who loves a quirky/cozy whodunnit. *"And that's the thing with lies: They're much easier to believe when it's an idea you like."* 📚 Reading Between the Vines: 📚 Click Here to Join a Fun Discord Book Club
