From the She-ra references to the mystical forces pushing their fates together, Astrid and Jordan's story truly made me fall in love with this book. I found myself relating to Astrid a lot, seeing the life i could have had in her. Her breakthrough was so satisfying to read about, and the journey with Isabel was so sad yet heartwarming to see. I loved everything about this book. Phenomenal read that I ate up in literally a day.

Honestly, this author makes very interesting characters and there is always more to her books than just the sapphic romance. However it lacks depth in how the characters are feeling. I never get too attached to the characters, it was the same with the previous book. I also think the third act conflict was not really believable.
