I think I've been rendered speechless by a book once again. I've spent the last 8 hours steadily reading this book, and as I write this at 5:22 A.M., I can honestly say it was so worth it! I loved this world, I loved Roman and Iris. I think their story got the end it deserved. The sheer amount of STRESS I felt during the last 100 pages was insane. When Iris found Prindle and Forest, I lost it. I actually started bawling my eyes out. After everything Iris went through and she loses him just like that. That sucked. Really badly. But the sheer amount of joy I felt when Mari, Keegan, and Helena made it was unmatchable. I'm really sad that this world is done, but I will love it forever. Overall, I give this book 5/5 stars, and I will always recommend this duology to anyone who will listen. EDIT: After having several hours of sleep under my belt, I’ve decided to bump this up to the Hall of Fame shelf. I was too exhausted to think this morning, but now that I’m thinking clearly, it deserves the best shelf.

Absolutely stunning. Beautiful writing, beautiful love story. Iris and Roman’s connection is so soft and strong. Tender, emotional, unforgettable. Highly recommend.
