The overarching story was what drew me to this book. I found it an interesting concept and something new. Unfortunately it was let down by a rather naive/ignorant FMC. Chapter 22 literally had me shouting at her to not see the obvious. The characters were also very shallow but I can somewhat accept that as part of the story. Everything looks perfect until you go looking closer. I don't think I'll continue this series because while the plot drew me in, everything else made me tired.
