My heart is broken, I have cried too many tears for our poor Adena💔 what made this difficult, was following the slow burn of the relationship between her and Mak while awaiting her iminent death 😭 It was just a beautiful little story.

I did like this characters POV but it was kinda unnecessary. Considering we know what happens to them already, id suggest reading this as tandem with book 1, its would probably hit a little harder. Overall not too much happens in this until the end, it has a nice little love story, but its very simple like book 1 overall. 🌶️ 0/5 Also in line with book 1, a kiss but no spice.
