This honestly hit all my boxes, but that's no surprise when this whole series has been hit after hit. Not to mention I'm a sucker for a second chance romance.

3.5 ⭐️ rounded up because I just love this series as a hole so much I am sad to be leaving this world behind. I loved Rebel Blue so much and had so much fun reading about this family and the love they all have for each other. This book wasn’t my favourite in the series but that’s just because I’m very picky with my second change romances and the tropes in this one just were not my favourite. It was still a good book though and Dusty was truly the sweetest man ever. The love he had for Cam for over 15 years was truly something magical. THE BONUS EPILOGUE 😭😭 truly my favourite part of the book it had me sobbing and smiling, I thought it was the perfect ending to this series and tied everything together nicely. It was nice to go back to where we started with an Emmy POV to see how much everyone has grown through the course of this series. What’s next Lyla

*❝I’ll love you until we’re dust Camille Ashwood❞* ❥ My thoughts What a bittersweet way to end this interconnected series of found family, second chances, new beginnings, attaining purpose, treading through mental illness, lingering childhood trauma, and grief. The bonus chapter in this book was such a perfect way to bring our time in Rebel Blue full circle by ending where it all started. I have to say that Camille and Dusty’s story wasn’t one I was super interested in nor are they my favorite couple but after reading this, I think they come in second for me. I adored their young innocent love, losing each other, and finding a second chance at love. Unlike a lot of interconnected series, Lyla has always kept all of the previous characters prevalent in each new story which has truly brought these characters to life for me. I will miss this series and it is one I want to revisit in the future. Highly recommend this series as a whole if you want something to leave a lasting impression on you as a reader. ❥ Trigger warnings Sexual content, Emotional abuse, Toxic relationship, Pregnancy, Death of parent, Bullying, Grief, Body shaming, Classism [❥Connect with me on instagram❥](https://www.instagram.com/inkstainedemotions?igsh=aTh6eTZ6dGwxMXpy&utm_source=qr)

This is a cozy read, not a ton of drama and a nice ending to the series. It was a rough start for me in this series, it was probably a mood thing. I’m not sure how sold I am on cowboy/girl romances but I am more open to them. This was pretty good, I do enjoy a second change romance. I still think the last book was the best one but this was pretty good too. 🌶️ 3/5 Theres some cute spice moments, I really wish I had more Dusty POV chapters… I feel like that narrator was wasted with the couple we got from him. In duals I kinda expect it to be a constant switch off, and this was mostly Cam and then a few Dusty chapters here and there.

What a great way to say goodbye to the world of Rebel Blue! Even though this installment was not my favorite in the series, I still deeply enjoyed it form start to finish. You couldn't help but root for Dusty & Cam, especially because the author did such a wonderful job at showing each of the ways that they never stopped loving each other. Having both timelines of Dusty & Cam's relationship was a game-changer: It allowed us to see why they were still so attached to one another, while showing us the mistakes that led them to break up. Everything that happened in the modern day felt more high-stakes when you knew all the history they had to lose. It was easy to empathize with Cam & why she made the decisions she did; Dusty was a great balance for her while remaining a strong character in his own right. Their chemistry was so believable and fun. If I had one critique of this book, it would be that I wish we'd gotten more of Riley. She's such an integral part of Cam's story, but she felt like such a small cog in this book. That said, it never really detracted from my enjoyment. Lastly, I loved the bonus scene included at the very very end. It was such a sweet way to say goodbye to the series and these characters. I could barely read past the tears in my eyes. I'm so excited to see what Lyla Sage has in store for us next! Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Publishing for the ARC of this book.

When Cam is left at the altar, she feels like her life is spinning out of control. She doesn't know what to do or where to live. But when she finds a house she's loved forever is for rent, she is ecstatic, until she finds out who her neighbor is. Dusty has always loved Cam, but has tried to keep away from her. When he moves back to town, he plans to keep doing that. This is until he realizes that Cam isn't getting married and will be living right next door. His plan changes. He wants to prove to Cam that he will be there for her and that they can be friends. The more time they spend together, the more they realize that their feelings for each other are still very much there. I really enjoyed this story! I loved the back-and-forth timelines. I felt like this just showed the depth of their love for each other and gave a better understanding of their current thoughts and feelings. I loved how much Dusty cared for and about Cam. He is such a sweetheart and fought hard to be my favorite Rebel Blue man (sorry Gus). I loved this whole series, and I felt that this was a great send-off!
