The world of Angelthene is immersive, filled with supernatural politics, corruption, and danger at every turn. While the beginning felt slow, especially in terms of romance, I found myself completely hooked by the midpoint. I wanted more chemistry and anticipation between Loren and Darien earlier on, but their dynamic eventually won me over. The mystery surrounding the disappearances didn’t fully capture my interest at first, but as the stakes grew higher, I became more invested. And the ending? Absolutely epic. This is a solid 4-star read, and despite the slow start, I’ll definitely be continuing the series!
