It hurts to not give this 5*. I did love it, I flew through it and even forgot I was reading because I loved it so much, but the writing just got a bit repetitive in places and I can’t ignore that. The character development was beautiful though, absolutely love the chemistry between Kai and paedyn, if I wasn’t already married to the man of my dreams then Kai would be him😂 THAT ENDING AS WELL, EXCUSE ME???

I also enjoyed this book. It was action packed and showed the love hate realatiomship, and how complex it was really well. There are a lot of twists and turns making it very exciting. I need to get my hands on Fearless!

The pacing is a lil better in this one, the will they wont they is a bit tired at this point but I'm going to keep going with the series. The end was quite the cliff hanger I wasn't expecting that... but I do want to see where this goes and finish it. 🌶️ 1/5 Some vague kissing, little tension, but pretty tame imo. I'm not super attached to these MCs emotionally, it's alright though. 📚 Reading Between the Vines: 📚 Click Here to Join a Fun Discord Book Club

Really enjoyed the story, but didn't love it as much as Powerless (but definitely enjoyed it more than the Powerful)
