I don’t know what it was with this but I absolutely ate it up. This just hit at the exact right time for me. Were there questionable situations in this? Yes but I loved every second of them. Ali’s paranormal books just always hit so hard for me it’s my favourite thing of hers to read. I really do wish this one was a full length novel because I loved the characters and I wish we got more of them. A lot of people didn’t like the end but honestly I kinda fucking loved it. 🤷♀️ and I ate up all the omegaverse themes such as them kinda instantly falling in love, it wouldn’t work for me in a contemporary novella but this isn’t my first omegaverse and to me it felt fitting. Also PLEASE I BEG YOU ALI TO WRITE MORE PARANORMAL AND OMEGAVERSE!

Slow start, then a bit of a twist which was fun! I am not up to date on omegaverse lingo and terminology but this was easy enough to follow and enjoy without that. And there is some explanation early on but that kinda went over my head lol. Could this have been a full length novel and I would have read it, yes absolutely, but it was a good novella and I am intrigued to read more from this collection. Narrators were great and the MCs were well thought out for such a short story with background and family dynamics. 🌶️2.5/5
