The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods This book is so interesting. It has a little bit of everything, drama, magic, love, bravery and secrets. Once you get used to the multiple POV's it is super intriguing. The parallels between the two women, in two different times are so interesting to see. The book has three POV's, Opaline, a smart and brave women, she did all she could do for herself despite her brother being totally against her and putting her in multiple bad situations. Her Pov takes place in 1921. Martha who had to run away from her abusive husband and Henry a book collector take place in the modern day. They all found love in books and collecting them, while also ending up in Dublin. Martha and Henry are trying to find a book shop, which is supposed to be located next to Madame Bowden (who Martha is working for after running away from her abusive husband.) But it is not there. I enjoyed how all these people's stories intertwined. Martha and Henry end up finding out about Opaline and her story. I listened to the book as a audio book and the different voices of the characters are so wonderful and fit them very well. I found the ending a bit rushed, but i enjoyed it still. I would definitely recommend.

I feel like this is better read immersively, I pretty much did audio exclusively and while it was really well narrated I feel like I missed some things... I enjoyed the multiple POVs and time changes, and there were some parts that had me feeling really sad, some because I could relate to and some because I couldnt imagine someone having to deal with... Would for sure reread again one day for the full experience.
