3.5 ⭐️rounded up for Goodreads. I really enjoyed this one. This book was so cute I loved all of the characters especially everyone in Edgar’s family. This was a hurt comfort book about a terrified and anxious character who can see ghosts and a bold, and extroverted haunted house designer such a fun dynamic honestly. It seems like they would be horrible for each other but they are in fact perfect for each other, seeing them grow (especially Edgar) though-out this book was so good. The ghost aspect was such a fun edition and I want a book about them all but I especially would love a book about Poe! I wasn’t sure about him at first but he grew on me and now I absolutely need him to get a happy ending 😭😭.

This was just what I needed to get over my last read. Cute, cozy, a little bit of trauma with great side characters and a fun lil spooky story that was easy to follow. I will say though, author is you are reading this, I would 100% read a book with Poe as the MC. 🌶️ 3/5
