Why did nobody warn me about the emotional damage contained within this book? I’ve been crying for 20 minutes and every time I think I’m okay, I just start again😭 I thought it was just going to be some silly Christmas romcom but it was honestly incredible. The plot was great, the romance was even better, and I’m going to recommend it to everyone I know.

This was my absolute favourite Christmas romance. It was sweet and cute and also so sad at moments. A couple different chapters had me full on sobbing which is always a good sign in my book. I loved the two main characters so much and the concept was so good, ghosts of Christmas past but make him hot and Irish 👀 SAY LESS. I swear every B.K. Borison book I read is better than the last. I can’t wait for the grim reaper story coming next and to read all of her other books as well.

Perfect for this season and I would absolutely consider a reread next year. I took my time reading this and think I would have enjoyed it more if I read it at my normal speed but life happens, maybe next year. It took me a minute to get used to the MMC narrator, but after a while I adjusted and really got into this one. Beautifully written and cozy for the holiday season but not overly christmassy. There were ups and downs which I really appreciate in a romcom and some things I did not expect so that was enjoyable. Cant wait for the next book in this series I am a big fan of paranormal romance. HIghly recommend. 🌶️ 3/5

A very cute story. I loved the MCs and the relationship between them. The ending was lovely. Would recommend if you're looking for an easy to read, sweet Christmas story with a bit of whimsy

I think this book has truly made me accept that contemporary romance isn't for me and while I enjoyed it some, I can't say I loved it either. No fault on the author, the genre isn't for me. However, this was bloody adorable. I loved Harriet's journey, it's something I can deeply relate to. I enjoyed the world, the characters and the overarching theme. I do wish there were, maybe, some more memories into the past for both but that's a minor criticism. Overall, a lovely festive book that does make you feel good.
