EDIT: Still enjoyed this one very much. Definitely still a 5/5 for me. ———————————————————————————— EDIT: I teared up during this one. Again. It hurt. Anyways, still love it. Still a 5/5 for me. ———————————————————————————— EDIT: Somehow I actually cried during this. Not sure how that happened but it did. Anyway, I give it 5/5 stars again. ———————————————————————————— EDIT: I’m still unwell from this book. I actually cried this time. However, I think my rating is changing to 4.75/5 stars! ———————————————————————————— Okay so this book was absolutely amazing. The plot was so good, and I genuinely loved this book. Celaena has grown so much, and I love her. Rowan.. he was an asshole at the beginning of the book, and as it went on, I grew to love him. Him and Celaena are absolutely adorable, and I love them so much. I miss her and Chaol, though. I loved Dorian and Sorcha so much. He was so happy with her, and my heart genuinely hurts now. I have never hated a fictional character more than I hate the king. Maeve is horrible, too. I feel like Rowan’s friends will be more interesting in the later books. Also, I really like Manon. She seems like she’ll be interesting, and I’m excited to see where her story goes. Overall, I rate this book 5/5 stars, and I’ll definitely read it again.

This book was very information heavy for sure. We are learning a lot of things about Adarlan, Celaena/Aelin, Rowan (damn I love Rowan), Chaol, Dorian and Manon (darn I love her too). The first 50% of this book felt very slow and information dense, but once you get past the first part of the book, it is super action packed and I loved every second of it. I have giggled and kicked my feet, I have reread certain parts bc I could not believe what I was reading, I have sobbed my eyes out and I have screamed out of anger at all characters at some point. I LOVED the expansion of the world, I LOVED the new characters and the different POV's. I also LOVED the plot getting more interesting and def more high stakes. I feel like we are finally getting a in depth view on the problem that will be THE PROBLEM in this series from this point on. The struggles Celaena is overcoming, Rowan being Rowan, OMG THE BICKERING OF ROWAN AND AELIN UGH. Btw, what do we call her now? Aelin or Celaena????? ON TO THE NEXT

Wow, theres a lot happening here. I wasnt a fan of the witch chapters/pov, but after pushing through, the main witch grew on me some. Im sensing some good things from her coming. So much going on, but i loved it and its all setting up something much bigger i feel. Im not personally a fan of cliff hangers, so i liked how these books kinda just set up whats next, and not leave you like dying because something happened and youre left with WTF… i mean there were for sure some WTF moments, and i for sure got teary at others… so many emotions, and i have a feeling its just getting started. 🌶️ 0/5 Umm no… sad face.
