Romantasy and I don't have the best track record, so I knew I was taking a bit of a risk with The Iron Hex. That being said, I'm so glad I did! Even though this wasn't necessarily marketed as "cozy," something in the setting and writing style really made it cozy to me. I loved that there were clear stakes from the start and surprising plot twists around every turn; the romance was sweet and nuanced in a way that I really enjoyed and found easy to root for. I'm so looking forward to picking up the sequel when it comes out! **Thank you to Harlequin and NetGalley for providing an ARC of this book.**
