Such a good, well thought out series. I watched the movies a long time ago, but I had forgotten how the last movie ended, so I'm glad I finally read the books. No, it didn't have a perfectly happy ending, but it had an ending that made sense for Katniss. I love that she ended up with Peeta. They went through so many traumatic experiences together and knew exactly what the other needed to be okay; something I don't think Gale could ever really understand. Also, I TRULY love that the series starts out with Katniss hating buttercup and in the end they comfort one another. Ugly crying.

I preferred divergent over this series, but overall it was a really good YA story and I love the plot, world, and characters.
